This dress was inspired by the work of artist Jean Miró and created for the group show—Inspiration: A collection of Modern Art by 19 Local Western North Carolina Artists Inspired by the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, September 2018, Mark Bettis Studio & Gallery.

The fabric for this dress is hand dyed with local black walnut hulls and hand painted with thickened natural dye extracts.

care: hand wash with mild shampoo in cool water, rinse, dry flat. press on wrong side, cotton setting or dry clean.
